Liverpool Pirate Radio

LPR or Liverpool Pirate radio, to give it it’s full title is a station which has operated in the Merseyside area of the United Kingdom since the early 1980’s on both Mediumwave and FM. This radio station has been logged in the British DX Club official journal ‘Communication’, which is registered with the British Library (ISSN 0958-3142). Here is an example from Edition 310 September 2000: “1431 Khz Liverpool Pirate Radio. Regular Sunday 1300 to 1700”. Also in edition No. 369 (August 2005, Liverpool Pirate Radio was logged “on both 26 June and 3 July playing country Music”. |
