List of most dangerous animals can be formed by number of human deaths they cause.
Here is a partial list:
Most deadly insects are mosquitoes and bees. Mosquitoes cause two million deaths annually due to malaria epidemics, and bees cause over 400 deaths due to allergic reactions to their venom.
Of venomous animals, snakes are causing 100,000 deaths a year, followed by scorpions which kill 5,000 people every year. The deadliest snake is cobra causing around 40,000 deaths in India per annum. Spiders only cause 2-3 deaths a year, usually of children.
Of large animals, crocodiles are deadliest, causing 2,000 deaths a year.
Elephants kill around 600 humans every year. Hippos kill about 200, around the same number as lions. African buffalos kill only a few dosen, but are considered very dangerous by hunters, since wounded beast stalks and kills hunter.
Lions, tigers, leopards and other big cats kill over 600 people a year.
Jellyfish kill over 100 people each year. They are most dangerous creatures of the seas.
Sharks kill 50-100 people every year.
Bears, of whom polar bear is the most fierce, are responsible for an estimated 5 to 10 human fatalities every year, less than African buffalo. It is also less than domestic dog, that kills over 20 people.
