The following is a list of characters that appear in the fictional tactical role-playing game Front Mission 2089-II. Recurring characters from other Front Mission entries, namely Front Mission, Front Mission 2089, and Front Mission 5: Scars of the War, also appear in the video game. Main Characters This is a list of characters who play a major role in the game's storyline. Chariots This is a list of characters who are part of the mercenary outfit known as the "Chariots", the main protagonists of Front Mission 2089-II. Albert Masel Albert Masel is a mercenary serving in the O.C.U. military and a member of the mercenary outfit known as the "Chariots". He acts as the game's main male protagonist. Mist Mist is an mercenary assigned to the Chariots mercenary outfit and employed by the O.C.U. military. She is a taciturn soldier who willing complies with orders, but at times appears disturbed by what she is asked to do. Mist initially serves as the third-in-command of the Chariots, and later becomes its adjutant after the O.C.U. military restructures the outfit in 2090. Serena Sana Serena Sana is a former O.C.U. captain and the commanding officer of Chariots. She acts as the game's main female protagonist. Jose de Luca Jose de Luca is a former O.C.U. lieutenant and a member of the Chariots. Along with Serena Sana, he befriended and worked alongside Karen Meure during his time with the O.C.U. Ground Defense Force (O.C.U. GDF) as a sniper specialist. Jose initially serves as the adjutant of the Chariots, and relinquishes the position during the outfit's restructuring orders. Dan Nguyen Dan Nguyen is a former O.C.U. artillery weapons specialist and a member of the Chariots. He is one of the game's protagonists. Vampires This is a list of characters who are part of the mercenary outfit known as the "Vampires", the main antagonists of Front Mission 2089-II. Bahamut Bahamut is a mercenary in the employ of the Vampires mercenary outfit and the game's. Known on the battlefield as the "Magic Dragon", Bahamut is Lich's adjutant and acts as the second-in-command for the Vampires. He acts as the main liaison between the outfit and B Organization, relay messages to and from either party. While his real name is unknown, his codename in the outfit is "X-02 Bahamut". Valkyrie Valkyrie is a mercenary employed by the Vampires. Like all other higher-ranking members such as Bahamut and Dark Knight, Valkyrie operates alone and does not work with other Vampires. As a liaison between the outfit and the B Organization, she helps oversee a top-secret military project called the "Puppet Soldier Plan". Her real name is Sana, and her codename in the outfit is "X-04 Valkyrie". Raven Raven is a mercenary employed by the Vampires and the leader of the "Cerberus" platoon. Raven is a test pilot of a top-secret wanzer codenamed the "Type 11". His codename in the outfit is "X-06 Raven". Hellhound Hellhound is a mercenary employed by the Vampires. Hellbound is a member of the platoon known as "Cerberus" and serves Raven. While his real name is unknown, his codename in the outfit is "X-08 Hellhound". Alice Suresh Alice Suresh is an Indian merchant working for the United Arab Republic (U.A.R.) business conglomerate, Battal Firm. As a representative of Battal Firm, she offers O.C.U. mercenaries the latest warfare products developed by the company. Peter Logan Peter Logan is an O.C.U. soldier formerly in the employ of the O.C.U. GDF 13th Battalion, B.A.T.S. When the battalion was disbanded in the mid-2080s, he became a mercenary for hire along with his other colleagues in the unit. John Hicks John Hicks is an O.C.U. soldier and a former member of B.A.T.S. battalion. When the battalion was disbanded in the mid-2080s, he became a mercenary for hire along with his other colleagues in the unit. Gabriel Sato Gabriel Sato is an O.C.U. soldier and a former member of B.A.T.S. battalion. When the battalion was disbanded in the mid-2080s, he became a mercenary for hire along with his other colleagues in the unit. Ernest J. Salinger Ernest J. Salinger is a former O.C.U. captain and a mercenary for hire. After leaving the O.C.U. After claiming various championships, Stan leaves the sport and pursues a life as a mercenary while searching for more "meaningful" work. In the game, he is one of the instructors involved with training mercenaries how to pilot wanzers. Kate Slinger Kate Slinger is a former operations coordinator and a mercenary for hire. Kate's experiences as an operations coordinator working with the Central Intelligence Union (C.I.U.) led to her pursuing the mercenary lifestyle. In the game, she is one of the instructors involved with training mercenaries how to pilot wanzers. Lycov Lycov is an engineer in the employ of weapons developer and medical conglomerate, Sakata Industries. Lycov is tasked with producing new wanzers and mobile weapons designed for Bioneural Device usage. In the game, he hires the Chariots to test out the performance of the latest wanzer models in the company's line up. Royd Clive Royd Clive is an O.C.U. captain serving in the O.C.U. Border Patrol Force. Royd commands a small reconnaissance unit on Huffman Island and participates in numerous operations to protect the Mail River border on the island. In the game, the Chariots aid his unit in gathering information on U.S.N. movements near the Huffman Island border. Karen Meure Karen Meure is an O.C.U. lieutenant with the O.C.U. Ground Defense Force Intelligence Agency (O.C.U. GDFIA). Karen works alongside Royd Clive and Ryuji Sakata of the O.C.U. Border Patrol Force to defend its borders on Huffman Island. In the game, the Chariots save her from U.S.N. forces during a reconnaissance operation near the town of Lark Valley. Ryuji Sakata Ryuji Sakata is an O.C.U. lieutenant serving in the O.C.U. Border Patrol Force. Ryuji serves under Royd Clive and aids him in conducting reconnaissance operations around the O.C.U. and U.S.N. borders on Huffman Island. In the game, he and Royd Clive rescue Dan Nguyen of the Chariots from unknown assailants in the Wayne Mountains. Keith Carabell Keith Carabell is a seasoned mercenary. Along with his partner Joynas Jeriaska, Keith travels to Huffman Island after the O.C.U. and the U.S.N. begin hiring mercenaries to serve in their border patrol forces. In the game, he and Jeriaska accidentally destroy an O.C.U. supply truck detachment, and are consequently arrested by the O.C.U. MPs. Joynas Jeriaska (J.J.) Joynas Jeriaska is a seasoned mercenary. Along with his partner Keith Carabell, Joynas travels to Huffman Island after the O.C.U. and the U.S.N. begin hiring mercenaries to serve in their border patrol forces. In the game, he and Carabell accidentally destroy an O.C.U. supply truck detachment, and are consequently arrested by the O.C.U. MPs. Glen Duval Glen Duval is an O.C.U. sergeant employed by the O.C.U. Peacekeeping Forces (PKF). Assigned to Huffman Island, Glen serves as a wanzer instructor for mercenary recruits that the O.C.U. military lures to the island. In the game, his platoon saves the Chariots from a Vampires attack at an O.C.U. supply base, and later aids them in destroying a U.S.N. outpost.
