Lisette Cooper, Chief Executive Officer and Chief Investment officer of Athena Capital Advisors LLC, Lincoln, MA.
Dr. Cooper is the founder of Athena Capital Advisors LLC. She founded the firm in 1993. Previously, Dr. Cooper served as Manager of Consulting Services for Barra Inc., MSCI Barra. Prior to working at MSCI Barra, Mrs. Cooper was a Vice President and Senior Strategist for Merrill Lynch
Dr. Cooper received her Bachelor’s degree in Earth and Environmental Sciences in 1981 from Wesleyan University and a Ph.D. in Isotope Geochemistry in 1987 from Harvard University. Dr. Cooper is chairman of the Board of Trustees of Kripalu Center for Yoga and Health. She also serves as a museum trustee of The Antique Boat Museum of Clayton, New York.
Dr. Cooper regularly lectures at the University of Virginia and at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology Sloan School of Management.
Dr. Cooper has authored patents and papers including the following.
