"Lille gaarbe" is a therm that actually means "litle cat". It has been built by two different languages. The first part is "lille"; which means small, and is norwegian. The last part is "gaarbe"; which means "cat", is iranian. It is prenounced "lille goarbe".
This therm is very widely used among norwegians and iraninans in Norway. It is not used about small cats though, but as an affactionate word for your (female) lover. It has the same meaning as cute, but generally it is more directed towards the personality of the person than the apperance.
It is said that a boy ( of iranian descent) in the small norwegian town of Kongsberg was the first one who started to use it.
