Leopard Aerospace

Leopard Aerospace is a French-Congolese HCV (hypersonic cruise vehicle, speeds of over Mach 5) feasibility study center founded by Guy Ngandu Kalonji and based in Reims, France. The center engages in R&D of next generation Leopard WJR-1/HX1 "Rebel Tek". The Leopard WJR-1/HX1 are hypersonic business jet with a long range and low capacity commercial transportation under the Hyvec project.
== Leopard WJR-1/HX1 "Rebel Tek" and MDO Approach ==
Planning is focused on hypersonic cruise vehicle to stay competitive with a multitude of engineering challenges. The study of aircraft design will allow reach hypersonic speed with its scramjet engine. An advanced research in materials is studied to withstand the friction-generated heat due to the compression shock waves. This why the Leopard Aerospace R&D is focused on Aerothermodynamics, Hypersonic airbreathing propulsion through a complex Multidisciplinary design optimization (MDO) approach.
The final goal of Leopard Aerospace is to integrate the uncountable aeronautical rules and so to convince the interested future manufacturers and aeronautical authorities that such a project can be realized. Because this large project is too difficult for a single nation to complete it alone, Leopard Aerospace is open though international collaboration.
Consultancy
Leopard Aerospace has too capabilities to offer services as aircraft design consultants and aircraft design expert.
