Leo Richardson is a British screenwriter, playwright, producer and columnist for Attitude magazine. Richardson was born and raised in the London Borough of Sutton in Surrey and went to Stanley Park High School. In 2003 he attended Webber Douglas Academy of Dramatic Art where he graduated with a Diploma in Acting. As an actor, Richarson appeared on the BBC TV series New Tricks. In 2008, Richardson made his West End acting and writing debuts with his play "SH*T-MIX", which premiered at London's Trafalgar Studios in 2008. He later adapted this for television. BBC3's earned him the nomination for "Best Script by a Newcomer" at the Prix Aurora Awards. Richardson has written episodes of the British Drama EastEnders. His other works include "Independence Park" for Fox Broadcasting Company with creator Jill Soloway and "The Effing Kids" for BBC. Richardson resides in Los Angeles.
