Leane Sharif is a fictional character in Robert Jordan's Wheel of Time fantasy series. She is willowy and graceful, but has a clipped tone of speaking at times. She is from Arad Doman originally. She is a former Aes Sedai of the Blue Ajah and former Keeper of the Chronicles for Siuan Sanche. She was stilled along with Siuan when the latter was deposed, but in Salidar they were both Healed by Nynaeve al'Meara, albeit to somewhat less than their prior strength in the One Power. Upon her reinstatement, she changed to the Green Ajah, possibly due to recovering some of her Domani skills at dealing with men. When the rebel Aes Sedai laid siege to Tar Valon, she and Egwene al'Vere attempted to transform the north and south harbor chains into cuendillar, thus effectively preventing Elaida's Aes Sedai from receiving shipments of food. Unfortunately, she was betrayed and captured, and is currently being held in the Tower dungeon. |
