Lawrence D. Weisberg

Lawrence D. Weisberg (born February 19, 1963) is currently employed by DreamWorks Animation on the 2010 production of How to Train Your Dragon. He has worked on many DreamWorks films, including: Jerry Seinfeld's Bee Movie (2007); the filmed version of the comic strip Over the Hedge (2006) and the Aardman co-production, Flushed Away (2006).

Born and raised in Warminster, Pennsylvania, Mr. Weisberg moved to Long Island in 1979, just prior to joined the U.S. Navy and serving aboard both and . During his time in the Navy, Mr. Weisberg served as a Yeoman Second Class and was qualified in Submarine Warfare. He is a Plankowner (an original crewmember), a Bluenose (an Arctic Circle crosser) and a Shellback (an Equator crosser]].

Post-military service, Mr. Weisberg spent nearly a decade in the music retail business, being awarded a Gold Record for Kenny G's Duotones (1986) in recognition for his Marketing/Merchandising services for Arista Records.

After moving to Los Angeles in 1993, Mr. Weisberg was employed for three years by ABC/Kane Productions, the producers of ABC's World of Discovery documentary series which aired on the American Broadcasting Company (ABC) Television Network. Mr. Weisberg was Associate Producer for ABC's "Wild Things: An Earth Day Special" airing on Earth Day 1995.

Currently Mr. Weisberg has been working for DreamWorks Animation since 1996.
