Laura McCartney (born 17 December 2002) is a Scottish footballer who currently plays midfield for Rangers in the Scottish Women's Premier League. Career McCartney started her career with Glasgow City she made her competitive debut on 1 November 2017, In 2018 she joined Rangers and made her first team debut on 17 February 2019. In September 2019, McCartney sustained an ACL injury and did not return until May 2021. She joined Motherwell on loan and was again sidelined by injury. She remained at Motherwell for season 2022-23. International Career McCartney has represented Scotland at school, under 15, under 16, at under 17 level and she played in the 2018 UEFA Women's Under-17 Championship qualification rounds and the 2019 UEFA Women's Under-17 Championship qualification matches, At under 19 level played in the 2019 UEFA Women's Under-19 Championship which were held in Scotland |
