Last Church of Order

The Last Church of Order (LCO) is an independent Christian Church in Zambia.
It was established in 2015 based on the teachings of the self-styled Messenger of God, Philip Tembo.
Due to its beliefs, the group has faced widespread rejection from mainstream Christians. , it was reported that the group has more than three thousand adherents. It is one of the newly established churches in Zambia, but it is very novel both in teachings and in organization. Members of this sect are informally called "Abamupashi" which means "the spiritual ones" or the ones who have the spirit. The group rejects the rapture Doctrine and the existence of hell. The Church recognizes Alice Lenshina as a true servant of God and emphasizes Seventh-Day Sabbath observance. It is also reported that new members of this church are made to stay silent and to fast for forty days after their baptism. The members of this church do not use any form of contraceptives and they generally live very ascetic lifestyles. The group avoids being photographed and members are generally secretive.<ref name="auto"/>
