Lance Guma

Lance Guma is an exiled Zimbabwean journalist based in the United Kingdom. He is the Managing Editor of Nehanda Radio and Nehanda TV.
Prominent interviews he has done on Nehanda TV include the then Prime Minister of Zimbabwe in the coalition government of 2009-2013, opposition leader Morgan Tsvangirai Uebert Angel , the founder of the Spirit Embassy Church in Zimbabwe , Zimbabwean musician Thomas Mapfumo and the current main opposition leader in Zimbabwe, Nelson Chamisa . In January 2014 Lance Guma was involved in a heated radio interview with Zimbabwean businessman and politician Phillip Chiyangwa.
Prior to this Guma worked as a Producer/Presenter for SW Radio Africa, an independent radio station that broadcast to Zimbabwe via the United Kingdom on Shortwave Radio. During the period 1995-1996 Guma was the Secretary General of the Harare Polytechnic Students Representative Council (SRC) leading several demonstrations against the government of President Robert Mugabe.
Guma has also featured on several international news networks giving his analysis on the political situation in Zimbabwe. The interviews and analysis has been on Al Jazeera , Sky News, News24 and the BBC among others.
