Lalit Mangal

Lalit Mangal is one of the co-founders and Chief Product Officer at Commonfloor.com. He oversees product engineering, product design and development, product management at Commonfloor.com. He completed his degree in engineering in computer science from IIT Roorkee and worked with Oracle for a year where he met Sumit Jain. They both left their jobs at Oracle to follow their entrepreneurial instincts and Vikas Malpani also joined the duo, three of them founded Commonfloor.com in the year 2007.
Education and career
Lalit is from Jodhpur and has graduated from the Indian Institute of Technology, Roorkee with a degree in Computer Science & Engineering. Before co-founding Commonfloor.com, Lalit was employed with Oracle for a year. At Oracle, he was an integral part of the server operations division.
Entrepreneur, Advisor, Investor
Lalit serves as an advisor on the board of Practical Coding, an online mentoring platform. He has also invested in Orobind, a personal fitness coach. and is a mentor at an apparel-tainment startup, Chulbul Store.
Personal
Lalit currently resides in Bangalore, he is an avid reader. Besides reading, he also enjoys reaching out and interacting with budding entrepreneurs and start-ups. He also enjoys meditation.
