The Lake Unity monster, Unity monster or The Unit Monster is a lake monster said to be found in Unity Pond located in Unity Maine. History The Unity Monster has been seen by locals since the early 18th century. Legend has it that Native American tribes told tales of the monster dating back even hundreds of years before that. Description Using a compilation of sightings gathered over hundreds of years, and tales from Native Americans, a description of the Unity Monster has been agreed upon. It is said to have a long, cylindrical-like body with a mushroom shaped head. It bursts out of the water and spits a type of thick, sticky liquid possibly some sort of venom, on to its victims just before it eats them. |
