Constance Margaret (née) Evans, Lady Davies (later Lambart) (1898-1984) was the wife of composer Sir Henry Walford Davies and later the wife of Julian Harold Legge Lambart, Vice-Provost of Eton College. She was the daughter of Rev. Canon William Evans, rector of Narbeth, Pembrokeshire, Wales, and Canon of St. David's. Marriages In 1924, she married composer Sir Henry Walford Davies, who was Master of the King's Music from 1934 until 1941. He was 28 years her senior. He died in 1941. She was the godmother of Bridget Webb-Jones, the daughter of James William Webb-Jones, Headmaster of St George's School, Windsor Castle. On 28 July 1948, she married Julian Harold Legge Lambart (b.7 May 1893), Lower Master at Eton College, son of Colonel Edgar Alan Lambart and Mary Louisa Walker, daughter of Sir James Robert Walker, 2nd Baronet and Louisa Susan Malborough Heron-Maxwell. Julian Harold Legge Lambart became Vice-Provost of Eton College in 1959.
