Kumela Fituma (born 13 November 1958) is an Ethiopian middle-distance runner and sprinter. He competed in the at the 1980 Summer Olympics. Career Fituma was seeded in the 2nd 4 × 400 m heat at the 1980 Olympics. With Fituma on the second leg, his team split 3:18.2 for 7th place and did not advance. In 1982, Fituma placed 4th at the Rieti Meeting mile. His time was 4:01.36 minutes.<ref name=wa /> He returned the following year to place 10th in the 1500 metres at the 1983 Rieti Meeting, running 3:43.12.<ref namewa /> At the 1983 Golden Gala in September, Fituma placed 10th in the mile run with a 4:03.13 time.<ref namet /> |
