Kris Mullins

Kristopher Mullins (born April 23, 1985) is an entrepreneur and actor who has worked in special effects for music videos and founded multiple business ventures. He is the founder of iLikeThatDJ Ent., KCM Investments, CryoFX, Co2 Cannon, HollywoodSpecialFX, Project Green Advancements, Mullins & McGinn Publishing, SanitizeFX, and Founders Field Day.
Early life and education
Mullins attended San Diego City College, earning an Associate of Arts degree in Electronic Music Production in 2004. He obtained an Associate of Science degree in Engineering from Coastline Community College in 2005. In 2006, he completed an Associate of Arts degree in Web Design, Graphic Design, and Marketing from Platt College, followed by a Bachelor of Arts in Video Production, Marketing, and Branding in 2008. In 2011, Mullins earned a Bachelor of Applied Science in Music from San Diego City College.
He completed a Master Practitioner certification in Neuro-Linguistic Programming from the Academy of Applied Psychology in 2021. In 2025, he obtained an NCI-2 certification in behavior profiling from Neuro-Cognitive Intelligence University.

Special effects and acting
Mullins has worked as a special effects supervisor for music video productions, including Starlight (Could You Be Mine) (2014) by Don Diablo & Matt Nash, (2013) by Nicky Romero & Nervo, and Take Me (2016) by Nicky Romero featuring Colton Avery.
He has appeared in music videos, including (2013) by Nicky Romero & Krewella and Take Me (2016) by Nicky Romero.
In 2013, Mullins was featured on the TV Show Total Blackout alongside his brother Kenny Mullins, later performing as artists DJ Kray-Z-K, and Jakato.
Business ventures
Mullins founded CryoFX LLC, a company that provides CO2 effects for immersive Electronic Arts (EA). His company, CryoFX LLC, provided CO2 effects for Mass Effect: New Earth at California’s Great America. He is a team member of Legends Equity Group, a business network focused on investment and entrepreneurship.
