KRAX radar

The KRAX radar is a NEXRAD Doppler weather radar station located in Clayton, North Carolina. The radar site covers the central North Carolina Area (Raleigh- Durham- Chapel Hill) area. The radar is maintained by NWS Raleigh NC. The radar has a coverage range of 180 miles.
The following upgrades have been performed on the radar site:

** Transmitter Chassis Refurb
** M.R.L.E. Rescan Upgrade
