Koto Okubo

is a Japanese supercentenarian, who at the age of , is the oldest woman in Asia and the fourth oldest person living in the world. Known as the "anonymous lady of Kanagawa," Koto Okubo, just a few weeks shy of her 114th birthday, became the oldest woman from Japan and Asia after the death of Chiyono Hasegawa on 2 December 2011. Little is known about Okubo, since she was "discovered and identified" at this year's annual census done in Japan.

*2 December 2011 - Chiyono Hasegawa died, Koto Okubo becomes at the age of 113 years 343 days, the oldest living woman in Japan.
2012
*24 January 2012 - Delma Kollar died, Koto Okubo becomes the fourth oldest living person in the world.
*14 September 2012 - Koto Okubo is identified and recognized by the GRG as the oldest woman living in Japan.
