Kohima South Police Station, is a police station in Kohima, Nagaland, India. It is located at New Ministers' Hill Ward towards the road leading to Mary Help of Christians Cathedral. The station serves as a Police Station for the southern part of the Kohima Municipal Area. Mülekhoyi Chakhesang is the current Officer-in-Charge (OC) of Kohima South Police Station. The highly controversial (AFSPA) is still applicable in the station's jurisdiction as of 2022 along with 14 other Police Stations in Nagaland. In April 2022, the Indian Government in major development reduced the disturbed areas of the AFSPA for the first time in Nagaland and several other North Eastern states.
