Kodai Nagashima

is a Japanese professional footballer who plays as a midfielder for Indonesian Championship club Persiba Balikpapan.
Club career
After graduating from Seiritsu Gakuen High School, he joined Imabari in 2016.
On 4 September 2018, it was announced that he would be loaned to Primeira Liga club Portimonense, where he will plays for the U23 team. In January 2019, he was promoted to Portimonense's first team. However, he returned to Imabari in June 2019.
In May 2021, he joined Nara Club on loan from Imabari. On 16 August 2021, his move to Nara Club became permanent. His contract with Nara Club expires at the end of 2022. He decided not to renew his contract and officially left the club.
In January 2023, he signed a contract with Verspah Oita.
Angkor Tiger
On 12 June 2024, Nagashima move to Cambodia, signed a year contract with Cambodian Premier League club Angkor Tiger. He made his debut on 11 August 2024 in a match against Ministry of Interior, coming as a starter and played full 90 minutes. On 19 September 2024, Nagashima scored his first league goal for Angkor Tiger in the 34th minute of a 1-3 away win over Kirivong Sok Sen Chey. And scoring again in a match week 12 in a 4-1 home win against Ministry of Interior on 10 November 2024. On 1 December 2024, Nagashima scored a brace against Tiffy Army in a 5-0 win. Nagashima continued scored a hat-trick for the club in a 6-0 win against Kirivong Sok Sen Chey on 4 January 2025. On 9 February 2025, Nagahsima scored equalizer in a 1-1 draw over Phnom Penh Crown. On 30 May 2025, Nagahsima along with four other players officially left the club.
Persiba Balikpapan
On 30 July 2025, Indonesian Championship side Persiba Balikpapan announced the signing of Nagahsima on a year deal.
