Khushboo Mirza

Khushboo Mirza (born July 30, 1985) is a scientist of Indian Space Research Organisation since 3rd November, 2006.
Early life
Khushboo was born at Amroha near 130 Kms away from Delhi, UP, India. She got her primary education up to class 10 from Krishna Bal Mandir Inter College, Amroha (District J. P. Nagar). Later she joined Aligarh Muslim University and passed her class 12 and B.Tech. in Electronics Engineering (2006) from Zakir Hussain College of Engineering & Technology, AMU, Aligarh with specialization in Electronics & Communication Engineering. After her graduation Khushboo joined a multinational software company Adobe Systems as a Software Quality Engineer. She worked there for about 4 months before joining ISRO as a Scientist.
Career
Khushboo is a young female technologist in the field of satellite systems and has made significant contribution to the development of ISRO's prestigious Chandrayaan-1. She was a member of the Chandrayaan-1 team headed by Mylswamy Annadurai. As a team they have worked relentlessly in the face of several challenges in the regime of technology denials by adopting several innovations and novel techniques to realise world class lunar mission. India today has a pride of place amongst the space-faring nations in satellite technology. Specifically, as a young female scientist, Khushboo's role is really very significant.
As a Scientist of Indian Space Research Organisation
Currently working with Indian Space Research Organization (ISRO), Bangalore, India, as a Scientist since 3rd November, 2006.
Department: Satellite Checkout Division
Description: ISRO's Satellite Checkout Division designs and develops instruments and software which are used to acquire the data from the satellite and also performs all the tests on the satellite starting from integration till launch. This includes testing all mainframe subsystems as well as the payloads of the satellite.
Responsibilities: Testing and integration of different components of satellite by simulating different conditions.
As a Software Quality Engineer of ADOBE System
Before joining ISRO Khushboo worked at Adobe Systems, Noida as a Software Quality Engineer from 15th June, 2006 to 27th October, 2006.
Department: Adobe Illustrator CS3 QE Team
Description: Illustrator CS3 is a tool for graphic artists, video professionals, web and interactive designers who use graphics to communicate ideas visually in print, on the web, in motion graphics, and via mobile devices.
Responsibilities: Testing and assuring the quality of the Adobe’s Illustrator software. Responsibilities included writing test cases, executing them & reporting bugs. Various types of testing methods were used e.g. Black Box Testing, Regression Testing, compatibility checks with other applications of Adobe.
