Kenya–Philippines relations

Kenya-Philippines relations are bilateral relations between Kenya and Philippines.
History
Kenya and the Philippines first established diplomatic relations in 1967. In 1975, the Philippines opened an embassy in Nairobi. In 2010, the two countries signed an agreement to strengthen political, economic, scientific, technical, social and cultural cooperation between the two countries.
Migration
Approximately 300 Kenyans are estimated to be living in the Philippines.
Kenya's main exports to the Philippines were: vegetable textile fibres, Jute and other textile bast fibres, metallic salts and peroxysalts, vegetables (fresh, chilled, frozen), household equipment of base metal, soap, cleansing and polishing preparations; oil seeds and oleaginous fruits; special yarns, special textile fabrics. It has no plans of opening an embassy in the foreseeable future, thus all consular matters are handled by the honorary consulate.
