Keith C. Smith

Keith C. Smith (born June 8, 1938) Smith did postgraduate study at the University of Texas from 1969 to 1970.
Between 1976 and 1979, Smith served as a desk officer to Spain and Portugal.<ref name"Archived bio"/> Between 1980 and 1982, Smith served as a desk officer to the United Kingdom.<ref name"Archived bio"/>
Smith served as the Deputy chief of mission to Hungary between 1983 and 1986 and in Norway between 1986 and 1989.<ref name="Archived bio"/> From July 1994 to December 1994, Smith served as the Chargé d’Affaires to Estonia.<ref name"Archived bio"/> From August 1, 1997 to July 29, 2000, three years, Smith served as ambassador to Estonia.<ref name"Historical profile"/>
Later years
Between 2000 and 2002, Smith worked for the Williams Companies.<ref name"Interview ref"/> Since 2002, Smith has served as a consultant to the Center for Strategic and International Studies.<ref name"Interview ref"/>
