Keana Texeira

Keana Alexis Texeira, born September 23, 1994 is an
American teen actress, singer, songwriter, author and model.
Early life and family
Keana was born September 23rd, 1994 in Oakland, Tennessee to parents Terri Iligan and John Texeira. She has four siblings, Jonah, Christa, Seth and Sophie.
Christa and Sophie are also actors and actresses, Christa and Sophie having shared a cameo role with Keana in the comedy film "You Don't Mess With The Zohan."
Her brother, Jonah, currently attends Tiger Woods golf camp.
The family moved to Los Angeles, California in 2006 after Terri expressed wishes to further pursue her children's acting career.
Career
Acting
Texeira's acting career began when she landed a minor role in the 2008 movie The No Sit List. She appeared in a cameo role in You Don't Mess With The Zohan and then had a brief appearance in the 2009 comedy Jelly.
In 2010, Keana publicist announced that she was signed on to star in
2011 teen thriller Soulstice: Luna's Dream, based off of the first
book in a saga co-written by Texeira herself and co-author Lance Dow. Texeira will play the book's protagonist Luna Tremaine, a vampire who befriends a human and breaks a centuries old code. The movie will be co-directed by Brian Singer and features Emily Grace Reaves as Skylar Tremaine, Luna's younger sister. The screenplay was written by Lance Dow.
Music career
In addition to being an actress, Texeira is also a singer, releasing a duet with Jake T. Austin called "Could You Be The One" in 2009 and her first single, Luna's Dream was released in April 2010 on iTunes, the song is also said to feature on the Soulstice motion picture soundtrack.

In December 2009, she was signed on to Warner Music and became hugely successful in Japan after touring Tokyo with singer Jason DeRulo and "Could You Be The One" reached number 1 on the Japanese iTunes charts. "Need To Know" was subsequently recorded and again, was a huge success, also reaching number 1.
She then became the female face of Pro Activ for Japan and was featured in several TV advertisements and spreads for magazines such as
