Katherine Tudor of England

Katherine Tudor (2-10 February 1503) was an English princess, and the eighth and the youngest child of King Henry VII of England and Elizabeth of York.
She was the goddaughter of the future queen, Catherine of Aragon, who at the time was the widow of her brother Prince Arthur. Katherine is included in the depiction of the family of Henry VII with St George and the Dragon, a votive painting held by the Royal Collection.
Early life
Katherine Tudor was born on Candlemas day, 2 February 1503 in the Tower of London. According to some sources, Katherine's birth should have taken place at Richmond Palace, but she was born 10 days premature.
She was christened Katherine having ascended to the throne after defeating Richard III at the Battle of Bosworth in 1485, and Elizabeth of York, who was the daughter of King Edward IV, and their marriage symbolically united the rival houses of Lancaster and York.
Katherine Tudor was the youngest sister of several notable siblings, including:
* Arthur, Prince of Wales (1486-1502) - The eldest son and heir to the throne, but he died young.
* (1489-1541) - Married James IV of Scotland, linking the Tudor and Stuart dynasties.
* (1491-1547) - Became King of England and famously had six wives.
* (1492-1495) - Died in childhood.
* (1496-1533) - Married Louis XII of France and later Charles Brandon, Duke of Suffolk.
* Edmund Tudor, Duke of Somerset(1499-1500) - Died in infancy.
* Edward Tudor, Prince of England (Unknown - Unknown) - He died very young and was buried in Westminster Abbey. The cause was likely due to complications following childbirth.
Katherine is buried near her siblings, Elizabeth Tudor and Edmund Tudor in Westminster abbey in St Edward's Chapel without any monument.
