Katherine Keating (born 5 September 1981) is a political advisor, presenter and executive producer. Professional Life Keating is the presenter and executive producer of ONE ON ONE, an online interview series that fuses politics with pop culture, presented in association with Ideapod launching in September 2013. Keating founded Keating Company International in 2013, a new media group that acquires and develops intellectual property rights, in the form of screenplays, novels, biographies, television interviews and other primary material, intended for development of both film and television content. Katherine has over 10 years experience working in politics. Keating founded Keating Consulting in 2006, a Government relations consultancy, representing a number of international corporations, industry associations and not-for-profit groups. Her work included advising the East Timor Government and the Berggruen Institute on Governance . Keating previously worked as a Policy Advisor in the Offices of the NSW Premier and Minister for Planning, Infrastructure and Natural Resources, Australia. In 2006 Keating graduated from the University of New South Wales with a Bachelor of Arts majoring in Philosophy, Politics and International Relations. Philanthropy Keating was awarded a Churchill Fellowship in 2006 recognition of her work in the not-for-profit sector. She published a paper titled "The National Governance of the Non-Profit Sector", which was presented and tabled to the Australian Government Senate Standing Committee on Economics: Inquiry into the Disclosure Regimes for Charities and Not-For-Profit Organizations. Keating is on the Board of Culture Project, a not-for-profit theatre company, founded in 1996, dedicated to addressing critical human rights issues by creating and supporting artistic work that amplifies marginalized voices. Culture Project fosters innovative collaboration between human rights organizations and artists, aiming to inspire and impact public dialogue and policy, encouraging democratic participation in pressing world issues. Keating is an International Advisory Board Member of Access Now. For four years, Keating was a Foundation Board Member of the National Institute of Dramatic Art (NIDA), Australia's centre of excellence in training for theatre, film and television. Keating was a founded and Board Member of Young Garvan, Garvan Institute for Medical Research, a position she held for six years. She was the founder of GoFundraise, an online organisation that raises funds for Australian based charities. Personal life She is the daughter of the 24th Prime Minister of Australia, The Honorable Paul Keating.
