Kasi Calvin (born on December 3, 1987is a singer-songwriter from Pensacola, Florida, who has released one studio album, Class Act (2008, CD Baby). His musical styles are very diverse. He started as a rapper but after many failed attempts at success, found that many of his most creative writing skills was making blues and country songs. His music is in the style of Americana, or roots rock. Class Act marked his debut as a full blown country-rock artist.
Class Act Calvin's debut album released in March of 2008 spawned popular songs such as "Love 'em All", "Refund", "Too Tired to Drink", and the ode to his hometown, "Pensacola". Calvin worked with aspiring guitarists, John Noski and John Strickland, while completing the album. The record also features violinist, Brittany Green, and Ayla Green on cello.
