Kash 11

Azeez "Kash 11" Olanrewaju Ojutiku is a prolific rap artist and music producer from Lagos, Nigeria who is considered a pioneer in the genre of alternative/Yoruba rap music, having made his debut in 2001 with an ode to Lagos Island titled Where Dem Dey. He is currently the CEO of Good Morning Entertainment and has 4 albums to his name.
Kash 11 was born in Lagos Island to Yoruba parents and is also the grandson of legendary Sakara music legend Alhaji Lefty Salami Balogun. He started rapping in 1994 with his group known as DLB which consisted of himself and his biological brothers Dapo "DJ Methallic" Balogun and Bayo "Brassbell" Balogun. The group was short lived and disbanded in 1998 when Kash 11 decided to form another group called Da Mighty Kids, a quarter which consisted of himself, K-Flow ( The CEO of Satty Records who would go on to discover the late Da Grin ), Soburino and Clef. Da Mighty Kids will go on to experience a commendable level of success,recording together, getting airplay on the top Lagos radio stations and performing at events like French Cultural Expo and on various campuses and colleges in Lagos. Once again the group disbanded in 2000, but having tasted success, Kash 11 was determined to continue in his quest to become a full-fledged recording artiste, thus he delved into music production.
In 2001, he met Big Lo who invited him to his studio Dope Tracks and eventually taught him the business and gave him the opportunity to produce on the multi-platinum track Which Level which eventually appeare on the monumental Pirated Copy album which opened the floodgates for Nigerian rap music when it was released and made Kash 11 one of the most sought after young producers in Lagos.
He went on to produce for artistes like Lexzy Doo, Spy-Da-Man, Reminisce, Shanko Rasheed, Timi D Black One, Wande Coal and Dr Sid, most recently, he produced Emi Ni for veteran rapper Ruggedman who featured Da Grin on the song, this will be the last video the Yoruba rapper would appear in before losing his life in a tragic car accident.
In 2007, he formed his own record company 3Ple Tuaile Records and released his debut album 3Ple Tuaile which sold 30,000 copies. He formed his media comapny Good Morning Entertainment in 2011 and released his sophomore album The Return Of Kukute.
