Kappa Sigma (Philippines)

Kappa Sigma (Philippines) is a student fraternity based in The Philippines. They describe themselves as "a fraternity of free-thinking men committed to the principle of individual empowerment and objective free thought".
History
Kappa Sigma Fraternity was officially founded in the Philippines on by three university students who banded together to form the fraternity's founding core. They are:
* Edd Leal
* Titus Toledo
*Macario Macanas.
The Greek letters Kappa and Sigma stand for Kindred of Sages. Members are termed "Kappa Sigmen", or individually, as a "Kappa Sigman".
Objectives
* To forge a new enlightened radicalism based individual empowerment and objective free thought. (see: individualism, objectivism, and freethought)
* To generate an alternative venue for the promotion of independent scholarship, the advancement of creative enterprise, and the free exchange of ideas.
* To instill the ethic of free choice and individual excellence among members in all chosen pursuits, both personal and professional.
* To foster a kindredship of equals among all free-thinking, free-willing, and free-acting individuals, whoever and wherever they may be.
* To work towards the realization of a just, free, and a more humane society.
