Kamen Rider Abyss

is a fictional character in the 2009 Kamen Rider Series Kamen Rider Decade. Although Abyss appears in the World of Ryuki story arc, he is original to Decade and did not appear in Kamen Rider Ryuki.
Kamata
is actually the , the King of Hearts Undead who was brought into the by Narutaki in an experiment. He assumes the position of sub-chief editor of the Atashi Journal and assists in trying to clear Natsumi of the murder of its head editor until it is revealed that he is the true murderer. After being defeated, his identity as an Undead is revealed and he escapes back to the where he works with Hajime Shijo to create the Joker Rouse Card. In this A.R. World, he is finally destroyed by the teamwork of Decade and Blade. In the World of the Rider War, Super Apollo Geist uses his power to summon several Undead and subsequently merge them into a Paradoxa Undead, though it is uncertain if this is the original Paradoxa or simply a copy. The second Paradoxa, along with the , are destroyed by and 's Double Rider Kick.
Kamen Rider Abyss
Like the other riders in Ryuki, Kamata transforms into Kamen Rider Abyss through his Vent Deck and his V-Buckle. Using his Advent Cards in conjunction with his gauntlet.
Contract Monsters
Abyss is unusual amongst the Kamen Riders of the World of Ryuki in that he has two Contract Monsters: the , a humanoid shark that can fire high pressure streams of water, and the , a humanoid hammerhead shark. This is different from Kamen Rider Imperer, who has multiple Mirror Monsters at his beck and call only because they follow the true Contract Monster of Imperer: Gigazelle.
Kamen Rider Abyss' Final Vent enables Abysslasher and Abysshammer to merge into the , a single giant mechanical shark with a chainsaw attachment (giving it the appearance of a sawshark when in use) and machine gun eyes (giving it the appearance of a hammerhead shark when in use). It is destroyed by Ryuki in his Ryuki Dragreder form after Ryuki sliced through the shark with his tail. Unlike other Riders in the Mirror World, the loss of the Contract Monsters did not result to Abyss going into Blank Form; its possible due to being a Royal Type Undead, he is able to prevent turning into Blank Form.
Advent Cards
Abyss can perform various Vents, just as any Rider from Kamen Rider Ryuki.
* Advent: Summons Abysslasher and Abysshammer.
* Sword Vent (AP: 3000): Conjures his Abyss Saber.
* Strike Vent (AP: 3000): Conjures Abyss Claw. It can perform the Abyss Smash, shooting high-powered streams of water.
* Final Vent (AP: 7000): Executes Abyss Dive. Abysslasher and Abysshammer combine to form Abyssodon to attack the opponents.
