Kaden James

Kaden James McNeil (born October 11, 1988), better known by the mononym KADEN is an American recording artist, entertainer, writer and humanitarian. He was an MTV featured artist in 2011 and his work has been featured on MTV shows The Real World: Las Vegas, the final two episodes of The Hills including the series finale, and his song "A Boy Like Me" is the theme song to both The A-List: New York and The A-List: Dallas. Kaden's music video for "A Boy Like Me" which he co-directed and produced has also aired on MTV and other Viacom networks.
Life and career
James was raised in Emmett, Idaho, where he began performing in local talent shows and for his family and friends. After graduating high school, James moved to Los Angeles, where he wrote the song "Alone" while going through a difficult time in his life. Later James began working with some producers and wrote the songs "Live Fearless", "UndeRage", and "What You Mean to Me". James was later approached by a modeling agent after seeing his MySpace photographs, who signed him with the modeling agency Vue. He later starred in several commercials and was photographed for book covers such as The Secret Circle.
In 2010 James reached over a hundred thousand fans and millions of plays on Myspace and was approached to have his songs Black Light, All Good Things..., and Live Fearless featured on two episodes of MTV's The Hills. Later that same year James' A Boy Like Me was used as the opening theme song for The A-List: New York and the music video for the song was shot. The music video for A Boy Like Me began airing in April of 2011 on MTV, with the song being used on an episode of The Real World: Las Vegas as well as being the theme song for The A-List: Dallas.
