K-Fee car

Widely known as the video file "Classic Car". The German company K-Fee created this commercial for an energy drink in 1999. It was released on the Internet in late 2000 and is know widely known on YouTube as "Scary Car Advert".



Plot
The commercial begins with a relaxing scene of a white car driving down a grassy hillside to soothing music. When the car passes behind a large tree, the camera follows. The camera then pans off the tree, but the car is gone. A zombie with a frightening scream then suddenly pops into the scene, which is meant to frighten the viewer. The commercial then fades to black, showing the slogan: "So wach warst du noch nie." (translated "You've never been so awake") and, after some time, shows the product. Another variation of this commercial on the internet contains an alternate ending that reads "Now...Go Change Your Shorts And Get Back To Work!", which is in a different font/size.

Proceeded Ads
The "Classic Car" video was so popular, that in 2005, K-Fee decided to make more ads, still having the "screamer" feel to it, of course. They were each different in a way, varying from a Yoga Class to a shot of a Calm Beach. Each one had their own different "monster", however, they kept the same scream. One was said to be remade, due it's lack of "aftershock" effect. One of them, an ad for "K-Fee Lite", was not actually meant to be scary, the main fact being that the drink advertised contained no caffeine. Instead of a zombie accompanied with a brutal yell, a man, wearing casual clothes, popped up slowly from the bottom of the screen, and lightly said "boo".

Creation
The car ad was made in late 1999 in Berlin, Germany. It was not filmed on a set, it was actually outside of the K-Fee headquarters, about 3 miles away from it. The set was a closed circuit road. (Fact; The car is actually driving the wrong way; the road follows left) While the camera is following the car, the zombie was right under the camera, his head being held down by a staff member, and while the staff member is holding his head down, the zombie is pushing his head up for a faster effect. When his head came up, the man had whiplash, so they cut the video, and claimed that it was acceptable.
