Justine Moral

Justine D. Moral (born January 9, 1991) is an actress who comes from the Washington, D.C. area. A graduate of Northwest High School, and a Maryland Distinguished Young Artist Scholar of the Arts, Justine is now a junior pursuing a B. M. in Vocal Performance at the Peabody Conservatory of Music at Johns Hopkins University. She continues her study there under Marianna Busching.
About
Justine Moral (aka Icy) started performing professionally at the age of 10, opening for major Filipino artists headlining the Washington D.C. area, such as Lani Misalucha, Zsa Zsa Padilla, Kuh Ledesma, and Rey Valera. And by the age of 11, she landed her first role as Ngana, in Troika's Broadway National Tour of the musical South Pacific.
Following after, she released her first album Broadway Dreams, which included many of her favorite Broadway songs. At the age of 14, she became the flagship artist of Moo Records in the Philippines, a division of Brown Cow Entertainment. She signed an exclusive record production and distribution deal with major label Sony/BMG Records Philippines, releasing her pop debut album entitled "Dream Away ". She appeared on globally televised Filipino channels, co-headlined with other artists in concerts in Naga, Cagayan De Oro, and of course Manila, and even found her song listed as high as #12 in Top Thirty hit songs in the Philippines.
She then returned home to Maryland devoted to continue pursuing Musical Theater and learning about her other love, Classical Music. She continued joining vocal competitions, winning both the popular category and classical category of the Maryland Student Teachers Voice Competition. Her credits included Break-a-leg Theater's A Chorus Line, as Connie Wong, The Washington Savoyard Light Opera Company's Kiss Me Kate, as a Quartet member, and their holiday production of Babe’s in Toyland, as Little Bo Peep, Adventure Theater's What's a Wolf To Do, as Little Red, Summer Dinner Theater’s Beauty and the Beast, as Belle, and Meet Me in St. Louis, as Lucille, Theater Under the Stars Broadway National Tour of Les Misérables as a Teen Ensemble member performing in venues such as Wolf Trap and West Point's Eisenhower Hall Theatre, Dreamgirls as Lorrell/understudy Deena, Les Misérables, as Eponine, and has understudied the roles of Mulan and Mushu in Imagination Stage's production of Mulan.
