Justin Elicker

Justin Elicker (born July 31, 1975) is an American politician from New Haven, Connecticut. In September 2019, he successfully defeated three-term incumbent Mayor of New Haven Toni Harp in the Democratic primary. And later beat her in the General Election to become the 51st Mayor of New Haven. Elicker raised $303,000 as of the final filing before the primary, compared to $226,000 for Harp.
Early life and career
Elicker grew up in Connecticut. He attended public school, graduated with a BA from Middlebury College in Vermont, and earned both a Masters in Business Administration from the Yale School of Management and a Masters in Environmental Management from the Yale School of Forestry & Environmental Studies.
Elicker unsuccessfully ran for mayor of New Haven in 2013.
