Juneja is a common family name (surname) of Hindus and Sikhs with origin ranging from Punjab, Sindh regions of the Indian subcontinent and districts of north west frontier area (NWF) now in Pakistan. They adhere to family traditions, respect for elders and family rituals.Junejas are characterized under the caste system as Kshatriyas(Khatris). Junejas are members of the Arora community. After the Partition After the Partition of India in 1947, they migrated en masse to India and were dispersed to various towns of East Punjab (comprising of today's , Haryana and Himachal Pradesh), Rajasthan and Delhi. Religion Junejas are Hindus as well as Sikhs. |
