Julio Santa Cruz (born 1990 in Asunción) is a Paraguayan football striker, who currently plays for Blackburn Rovers subject to international clearance. He is the younger brother of Blackburn striker Roque Santa Cruz.
On 6 August 2008, Santa Cruz joined the club from Cerro Porteño on a three-year deal, signing his first profesional contract in Europe. It is expected that he will spend the 2008-09 season playing for the reserves to gain experience. It is also expected that he will perform up and beyond the call of duty in an effort to set aside rumours that he was signed based on his namesake. He has also played for paraguay national junior teams, just like his brothers Roque and Diego Santa Cruz
