Julián Ramírez (born August 11, 1992 in Los Angeles, California) is an undefeated Mexican American boxer in the Featherweight division. Julián was a member of the Mexican National boxing team at Bantamweight. Ramírez is the nephew of World Champion, Genaro Hernández and is signed to Oscar de la Hoya's Golden Boy Promotions. Amateur career Ramírez had a record of 73-5 during his amateur career. Julián would win the Junior Olympics Championship, National Police Athletic League Championships four times, and even a gold medal at the 2011 Mexico Games Championship. Professional career In February 2012, Julián beat Javier Damian at the Phoenix Club in Anaheim, California. |
