Julian Chadwick

Julian William Mark Chadwick (born 3 January 1957) is a British solicitor and a Knight of Justice of the Order of Malta. He is the former Chairman of the Latin Mass Society of England and Wales.
Early life
Chadwick is the son of Douglas Herbert Chadwick, of London, and of his wife Elizabeth Mary Evans. Under his leadership a Latin mass was said at Belmont Abbey, Herefordshire, for the first time in forty years and a cardinal said a Latin mass in Westminster Cathedral for the first time in 39 years. While Chadwick was Chairman, the Society sponsored training workshops at Merton College, Oxford. In December 2008 these were cancelled in what journalist Damian Thompson described as "some sort of class warfare". Chadwick resigned as Chairman in March 2009 after a vote of no confidence.
Charitable activities
Chadwick is Chairman of the Newbury Spring Festival, an annual music festival in Newbury, Berkshire.
Chadwick is a member of the Association of Masters of Harriers and Beagles. He is a former master of the Welsh Foot Beagles, the Christ Church and Farley Hill Beagles, and the Palmer Milburn Beagles.
