Judy Gutierrez Travis (born 2 February 1986) is an American make-up demonstrator and YouTube personality. Judy's YouTube channel Itsjudytime has over 1.37 million subscribers and 233 million lifetime views. Her other YouTube channel itsJudysLife has more than 1.4 million subscribers and 680 million lifetime views. Early life and career Judy was born in San Diego, California in a Filipino family to Nini Bihis Gutierrez and Albert Gutierrez. She went to Marysville Pilchuck High School and graduated from the University of Washington. Judy started video blogging in 2008 while studying at the University of Washington. She posted a hair-curling how-to video on YouTube which was received well on the social media network. Encouraged by this Judy started frequently uploading such videos to her channel itsjudytime. In 2011,Judy started her second YouTube channel itsJudysLife, a daily vlog channel where she highlighted the everyday moments of her life. She launched a "makeup palette". In August 2014, Driver Digital signed a contract with Judy to represent her for new media and product launches. Philanthropy In 2011 Judy Travis started an event called Dancember with his husband Benji Travis. Their first year they raised $5,000 and surpassed their initial goal of 3K raising funds for “homeless youth” in collaboration with Virgin Mobile. Since then the couple has raised over 1 million dollars for charities such as the YMCA, March of Dimes, Rescue Freedom, and Convoy of Hope. In addition to the money they have been able to hit milestones for awareness such as trending on twitter and getting over 1.5 million views on their broadcast in a 24 hour period. Dancember continues to happen every year and now is supporting Convoy of Hope through their feeding initiative “Feed One”. Every year Judy and her husband Benji host a 24-hour live broadcast in December, known as Dancember to raise awareness and funds for different humanitarian causes.
