Judith Belushi Pisano

Judith "Judy" Belushi Pisano (born January 7, 1951) is an American writer, graphic designer, and artist. Born Judith Jacklin to parents Robert Leslie Jacklin and Jean Buchanan, the youngest of four children. Jacklin attended Wheaton Central High school in Wheaton, Illinois, where she met and began dating John Belushi during her sophomore year, and graduated in 1969. For the next three years, she shared an apartment with financial advisor and television personality Suze Orman.
In 1973, she and John moved to New York City to work for National Lampoon, where she started out as an art assistant. She later became an associate producer for The National Lampoon Radio Hour.
Judith and John were married on December 31, 1976 in Aspen, Colorado, U.S.. They remained married until John's death on March 5, 1982. She began using the Belushi name only after John's death and kept it after remarrying eight years later.
Judith made two uncredited cameo appearances in John's films National Lampoon's Animal House (as Bluto's dance partner at the toga party), and (as a waitress at the Holiday Inn restaurant). She also served as the primary cover designer on the first four Blues Brothers albums: Briefcase Full of Blues, ', Made In America, and Best of the Blues Brothers.
Judith married writer/producer Victor Pisano on October 7, 1990. They own the Belushi Pisano Gallery in Vineyard Haven, Martha's Vineyard, Massachusetts, U.S., and oversee The Official Blues Brothers Revival along with Dan Aykroyd.
In addition both Judith and Victor contribute to the Theatre, Music, and Performing Arts Program at Hocking College, a technical college (which serves over 5,000 students) in Nelsonville, Ohio
Judith is the author of the memoir Samurai Widow and the co-author of Titters and Belushi: A Biography, among other titles.
