Journal of Surgical Radiology

The Journal of Surgical Radiology is a peer-reviewed, freely available medical journal that publishes original scientific research, critical reviews, case reports, statistical compilations, descriptions of innovative methods or procedures, clinical studies, technological advances, and editorials in all areas of surgery and radiology.
Background
The Journal of Surgical Radiology is an open access journal available to all interested parties for no charge. The digital edition can be accessed at any time and is identical to the print version. Subscribers who wish to receive the print edition pay only a nominal printing and shipping charge.
J Surg Rad caters to the population of general surgeons, vascular surgeons, radiologists, cardiologists, and other interventionalists who rely on sophisticated imaging in order to complete procedures and operations on patients. Like other scientific publications, J Surg Rad completes a peer review process of all original articles submitted for consideration. A double blind, anonymous peer-review with at least two editors or reviewers. This exceeds the recommendations of the National Library of Medicine for scientific review and integrity.
Articles are published in a wide variety of fields of interest to physicians, surgeons, residents, medical students, and the general public.
