Journal of paramedic practice

The Journal of Paramedic Practice is a monthly peer-reviewed medical journal focussing on emergency medical services and Paramedic practice. The consultant editors are; Lynda Sybson, Pete Gregory and Ian Peate, who was awarded an OBE by Queen Elizabeth II. It was established in 2008 and is not yet indexed in medline. It is published by the Mark Allen group. The journal is also supported by the College of Paramedics who offer a 15% discount for members on journal subscription. The journal currently has a readership of 18,000 per issue and a circulation of 8500. The journal is also circulated by the Irish Pre-Hospital Emergency Care Council.

The Journal of Paramedic Practice publishes a wide range of prehospital care work. This includes:

The journal also provides online CPD activities aligned with current UK prehospital clinical guidelines and the latest evidence base. In addition to this the Journal of Paramedic Practice has provided a publication platform for winners of the UK Carole Furber Award, from the College of Paramedics. The journal is also a partner organisation of the Association of Air ambulances.
