Josh Palmer (born March 19, 1983 in Regina, Saskatchewan) was a contestant on Canadian Idol 3 (2005). Palmer made it to the Top 10 of that year's Canadian Idol through the luck of one of multiple wild-card spots. He was eliminated at the Top 6 level on August 17, 2005. Later, Palmer funded a trio The Rebellion. The group toured across Canada in support of the bands debut album, Time. Released September 2008 under the indie label The New Rockstar Philosophy, the band claims it has "emotional cinematic view, with high intensity Alt/pop/rock flavors" (sic).
