Josh Brody

Josh Brody (born March 11, 1991) is an American internet entrepreneur and computer security researcher. He currently runs an agency in Minneapolis and serves on the board of various tech startups in both his hometown of Minneapolis, Minnesota and in Silicon Valley. He was an early employee of Pinterest, and carved out the backend which they still use today.
In 2013, when news broke of Brody was the second person outside of Target Corporation to become involved with the investigation. He was the first person to suspect that the systems were infected by the BlackPOS malware after seeing requests in Charles Proxy being sent to server in Russia in a format he thought he had seen before. This was later confirmed by an independent security firm.
