Jon Carlo Play~ A play developed in 2005 during a Little League baseball game played in Wilton, CT. The play was devised by coach LoGiurato and excuted by Jon Carlo Baggio. It took place in the bottom of the sixth inning in a scoreless game. Jon Carlo was on third base with no outs, coach L. was the third base coach. As the catcher threw the ball back to the pitcher with a high arc, coach L. informed Jon Carlo that he should time the throw and break for the plate as the ball was in the air back to the pitcher. With the count at two balls, neither the pitcher or catcher paid any attention to Jon Carlo,the catcher through a high arc ball back to the pitcher, Jon Carlo broke for the plate and scored the winning run without a play being made at the plate.
