New article name is Joker Blast Joker Blast is a card-based drinking game developed by Brad Sullivan and Aaron McFarling in 1998. It is derived from the classic Wall Poker game used with baseball cards. The game can be played with 2-4 players using a standard deck of cards including the two jokers. Two-player game: Players split cards between red and black, with each player receiving 1 Joker apiece. Player 1 holds card flat against the wall in a designated area and releases. Player 2 then repeats with his/her card. The object is to have your card land overlapping any of the opposing player's cards. Players alternate dropping cards until this is accomplished. The losing player must drink for the number of seconds equal to the number of cards lying on the floor. All cards are returned to original player for next round. For example, player 1 (red) drops a red card that lands on top of a black card with 10 cards lying on the floor. Player 2 would drink for 10 seconds. The Joker can be played at any time, and if successfully dropped on the opposing player's card, the time is doubled. However, the player must declare that he/she is dropping the Joker beforehand by saying "Jokerrrrrrrrrrr Blaaaast!!!!!!" Local rules may apply here, but an agreed-upon decree must be shouted for the Joker to have its doubling effect. If the Joker does not land on top of an opponent's card or lands on top of the dropping player's cards, then play continues with the next player. Winner collects his/her colored cards and any Jokers on the floor. 3-4 player game: Cards are divided amongst players by suit. Play continues as in the two-player game, but the first round is played without Jokers. The loser is determind by the suit that is overlapped. The winner of the first round gets the first Joker; the winner of the second round gets the second Joker. As in the two-player game, cards are returned to the players after the round, except for any Jokers on the floor, which are given to the winner of the round.
