John Palino is a New Zealand talk show host and aspiring politician. He was the host host of the show "The Kitchen Job" on TV3 in New Zealand from 2008 to 2010.
On May 5, 2013 John Palino announced to the press he intended to run as a mayoral candidate in Auckland's 2013 local elections. Palino has stated that he intends to run as a centre-right alternative to Len Brown and will campaign against the intensification of land use across Auckland as described in the Auckland Council Unitary Plan. His proposed alternative is further intensification of the Manukau area only. He plans to privatise the Ports of Auckland.
