John Golden

John Golden is an American director best known for his contributions in the controversial film Ziesters (aka Fat Guy Goes Nutzoid) starring Peter Linari as The Mouka. John has also created another film alongside his brother Roger Golden titled Mule Pearson: ALL PURPOSE HERO. SAMANTHA, John wrote for Stuart Cornfeld (THE FLY, TROPIC THUNDER, NAT. LAMPOON'S VACATION, THE ELEPHANT MAN) at 20th Century Fox. It opened in 1992 and starred Martha Plimpton and Dermot Mulroney. It features Hector Elizondo, Mary Kay Place, Ione Skyne, Dooty Goodman. Under the leadership of Mario Gabelli of the Gabelli fund and the brokerage company Lazard Freres, John has raised millions of dollars in the New York Stock Exchang, alll of which was used to finance independent feature films. Golden has written feature films for most of the major studios and is currently producing COLORBLIND to be directed by its writer TONY VITALE (KISS ME GUIDO). COLORBLIND is currently in finance.
Coming from a season of Directing Saturday Night with Connie Chung for CBS primetime, John produced documentaries for The History Channel and The Arts and Entertainment Network. John has also helped create a documentary television network for The World Bank that creates documentaries of for and by the developing world. John produced the first of these docs working in Africa and Korea. The documentaries air on television in more than 125 countries. Since the creation of this network, Global Links, John has consulted for The Soros Foundation, The World Bank, The People's Republic of China, The United States Navy, The International Education and Resource Network, The Dystonia Medical Research Foundation and others in media projects of an international scope.
John is a senior student of Yamada Sensei, (of the New York Aikikai) a direct disciple of Morehei Ueshiba,) founder of Aikido and currently holds the rank of San Dan.
