Jimber is an online operating system / web desktop that is situated in the cloud. It is maintly written in Javascript. Components Desktop The desktop contains the standard elements that you find in any operating system. All the data is stored on the cloud provider. Jimber store The Jimber store is comparable with the appstores on mobile phones. All the apps in the Jimber store are approved. In this way, Jimber ensures the safety of their apps. File browser The file browser connects to Dropbox, Google Drive and OneDrive. Browser The browser frame technology makes sure you can surf to any website. History The development of Jimber was started in 2013. In January 2015 a movie of the alpha version was released. |
